Screw you, Cosi

This online application bothered me on so many levels. Number one, we are in a “gig economy” now, where many people are “independent contractors” or just plain old “self employed.” How do you cram this unconventional work history into this rigid form? Number 2, demanding to know my salary is out of line. What I earned in a past job is NONE of your business, Cosi. No, it’s not. End of discussion. Number three, you have no need to demand the personal information of former bosses at this early stage of the application process. No computer system in this world is safe from being hacked, plus how can I trust you that you won't use this information for other purposes? I never input the names and phone numbers of people I worked with as that's a serious breach of trust and puts their personal information at risk of being hacked or misused. It’s bad enough my own personal information is vulnerable. FAIL, Cosi.
